Why are people obsessed with wedding photography, dressing like king, etc.
It’s an identity crisis. (Bear with me)
So, they wanna feel somewhat better by creating virtual personas and stories.
Oh, I m special. I am a king, etc.
They don’t wanna do the real work and get actual results and satisfaction.
Like career, spirituality, fitness, relationships, etc.
(Of course, they have the right to dress well. It’s not haraam. But this is the psychology behind it in many cases.)
(There’s also social contagion/modeling.)
